Pricing will vary based on location and services requested. Being mobile, a travel fee will be incorporated for mileage outside of my local radius (as the crow flies) along with an additional fee if setup is required in an area other than walk-in level.
After vetting a discussion will be had directly about pricing, and pictures of the treatment area will be required to ensure enough room is available for me to work without causing injury or strain to my own body.
For your consideration: Massage tables on average are 76 x 30 inches (6.3 x 2.5 feet) and 24-30 inches in height, while weighing approximately 50lbs. An open area, free from items on the floor is ideal, with about 5-9 feet clearance around the workspace of the table. I will also need to be able to access the area selected via a debris free route. Outdoor spaces can be utilized if the weather is favorable and works with treatment modality.
Posture, mobility, and safety are critical for me to be able to perform at my best for you. While also allowing me to continue my practice long into the future. Appreciate in advance your care and consideration to assist me in continuing to provide optimal healing and therapeutic treatment.
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.
Utilizing principals and techniques of Thai bodywork, this treatment is a whole-body treatment performed clothed on the massage table rather than on a Thai massage mat. Thai-style modalities all benefit overall mobility, flexibility and improved joint health, as well as general enhanced wellbeing. It is a rhythmic eastern stretch and compression based, energy centric modality. Which incorporates the treatment of eastern energy meridians, progressive stretching, cross-fiber compression, body mechanics, breathwork and meditation.
This method can be standalone or incorporated into another treatment. Because it is less forceful than the better-known Deep Tissue modality, clients looking for a lighter more flowing touch may prefer this option.
Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function.
Neuromuscular therapy is a system of massage techniques that were developed in the 1930's by Dr. Stanley Lief in England. It uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles, and accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of endorphins.
Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.
Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work that cleanses and balances the energy system in the body. As a result, the body's natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum health. During a session, I work directly with your energy field to remove blockages, detoxify your system, and restore your vital life force energy. Reiki utilizes a gentle laying on of hands to conduct the necessary energy force between us. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain.
Energy work is based on the belief that everyone has a \"life force\", and that the body needs to sustain its balance for optimum health. Anytime you experience emotional or physical illness, it indicates that your life force has simply become unbalanced. I work directly with your energy field to restore balance and flow to your entire system. And once your energy field has been restored to full health, your body will follow.
